CHICAGO ARMY, IT’S D-1 πŸ˜­πŸ’œ BTS hit Soldier Field tomorrow β€” and Illinois has officially declared Aug. 27–28 β€œBTS Day,” with Chicago preparing to turn purple for ARIRANG.

CHICAGO… THE COUNTDOWN IS BASICALLY OVER. πŸ˜­πŸ’œ

BTS WORLD TOUR β€˜ARIRANG’ arrives at Soldier Field tomorrow, August 27, for the first of two huge Chicago nights β€” and Illinois is giving BTS a welcome much bigger than a normal concert announcement.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has officially designated August 27 and August 28 as β€œBTS Day in Illinois.”

The proclamation recognizes BTS not only for their music and global influence, but also for messages connected with self-love, mental-health awareness, philanthropy and community action β€” values that have become deeply connected with BTS and ARMY over the years.

And yes… Chicago is preparing to go PURPLE. πŸ’œ

Local organizers say the Willis Tower will glow purple from 8:30 PM until 11:00 PM CDT on both concert nights, while ARMY-led cultural and community activities are also planned around the city.

Then comes Soldier Field itself.

Soldier Field has also opened early merchandise sales today, August 26, from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM CDT, with additional exterior merchandise locations scheduled to open at 10 AM on the actual concert days.

BTS previously performed at Soldier Field during LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF in 2019. Now they are returning as seven during the ARIRANG era.
