BTS have dropped the official teaser for “NORMAL,” turning the strange LAMRON bathroom mystery into an awkward, hilarious and deeply intriguing OT7 visual.

The short teaser places all seven BTS members together inside the now-familiar restroom setting first introduced through the LAMRON campaign. What looked like a strange newspaper photograph has become a full moving scene, complete with deliberately awkward timing, side glances and the kind of unserious OT7 energy only BTS could turn into a global comeback moment.
The teaser ends with Jung Kook’s voice delivering the song’s central line:
“Yeah, we call this thing normal.”
It is brief, weird, funny and impossible to ignore.
From LAMRON to “NORMAL”
The teaser completes the next stage of a rollout that began with LAMRON—the word “NORMAL” written backwards.
Before officially naming the music video, BTS transformed their social-media profiles, added LAMRON references across member bios and released a mysterious filmstrip-style reel. Newspaper-style advertisements then appeared with an unusual photograph of all seven members inside a restroom.
Instead of explaining the image immediately, BTS allowed ARMY to build theories around it.
Was it comedy?
Was it social commentary?
Was it connected to older BTS eras?
Why was such a private, ordinary moment being treated like breaking news?
The official teaser does not answer every question—but it confirms that the discomfort and humour are intentional.
Why the Restroom Scene Matters
At first glance, the setting is simply hilarious: seven globally famous artists standing together in one painfully awkward restroom scene.
But the rollout may also reflect the meaning behind “NORMAL.”
For BTS, even the most ordinary parts of life can become public content. A photograph, a private moment, a simple action or an unusual expression can instantly become a worldwide headline.
The campaign exaggerates that reality by turning something completely mundane into a dramatic media event.
That contrast sits at the heart of the song:
What feels strange to everyone else may have become normal for BTS.

ARMY Reaction
The teaser instantly gave ARMY a completely new collection of questions.
Why are they all standing like that?
Why does Jung Kook look so calm?
Why is the whole rollout centred around a restroom?
And how did BTS manage to make seven men silently standing beside each other feel like the biggest mystery of the week?
The answer may simply be that this is BTS.
They can turn one backwards word into a global theory, one strange picture into breaking news and one restroom scene into a highly anticipated music-video premiere.
LAMRON was the clue.
“NORMAL” is the answer.
And somehow, nothing about it is normal.
