After spending September 1 surrounded by BTS, tour staff and tens of thousands of ARMY in Los Angeles, Jung Kook opened a new Weverse LIVE titled simply:

And honestly, that tiny title fits the whole mood.

The LIVE was much quieter than the stadium around him had been hours earlier. Jung Kook sat down, talked with ARMY and reflected on his birthday after what had already been a very full day.

He showed some of the vitamins and supplements he travels with during the tour and talked casually about taking care of himself through the demanding ARIRANG schedule. Contemporary coverage noted that he referred to the collection as his medicine/vitamin bag.

But one of the sweetest parts had nothing to do with the tour at all.

Jung Kook talked about his family and thanked his parents for bringing him into the world, saying that because of them he gets to live the life he has now.

It was one of those Jung Kook moments that starts casual and then suddenly becomes much more personal than expected.

He also discussed the birthday itself.

Before the day, he apparently thought he might not even get traditional birthday food because of the tour schedule. But Taehyung and Hoseok helped make sure his birthday still felt like a birthday, including spending time with him and making the day special away from home.
