j-hope Reveals an ARMY Tattoo as BTS Bring ‘Love Maze’ & ‘Baepsae’ Back in LA 💜

LOS ANGELES NIGHT 2 DID NOT COME TO PLAY. 😭💜

BTS returned to SoFi Stadium on September 2, 2026 for the second night of their four-show ARIRANG run in Los Angeles — and somehow one concert gave ARMY new tattoo lore, old-song nostalgia AND a full-circle Butter-era moment.

The biggest surprise came from j-hope.

During the show, Hoseok revealed a new tattoo on the back of his thigh featuring:

ARMY.

But it is not simply the word written in a basic font.

The design is inspired by BTS’s famous ARMY formation from the “Butter” era, where the members used their bodies to shape the letters A-R-M-Y.

That means Hobi literally took one of BTS’s most recognizable visual tributes to the fandom…

and made it permanent. 😭💜

Contemporary coverage reports that RM introduced the reveal by telling the audience that it was Hoseok’s biggest tattoo, while Jung Kook joined the moment with the idea of ARMY with BTS / BTS and ARMY, and Hoseok summed it up with:

“BTS ARMY FOREVER.”

And the meaning becomes even sweeter when you remember BTS already share their matching 7 friendship tattoos.

LA Night 2 also delivered one of the tour’s biggest surprise-song moments so far.

According to current concert-setlist records, this was BTS’s first performance of “Love Maze” since 2019.

Yes.

2019 → 2026.

Seven years.

And suddenly ARMY at SoFi heard it live again. 😭

The ARIRANG tour has been using surprise songs to reopen different chapters of BTS’s catalogue, but “Love Maze” returning after that long makes this one especially meaningful.

Because the song itself has always carried that BTS–ARMY feeling of holding on through confusion and finding the way together.

Hearing it again in 2026 — during an OT7 stadium tour after everything between 2019 and now — lands VERY differently.

SURPRISE SONG #2: BAEPSAE / SILVER SPOON 🔥

And apparently one surprise was not enough.

The second special song was:

Baepsae / Silver Spoon.

Current setlist records confirm both Love Maze and Silver Spoon as the LA Night 2 surprise additions.

Which means Night 2 went from:
