BTS Jin Covers ELLE Korea’s August 2026 Issue in Six Gucci Editions
Jin has been revealed as the cover star of ELLE Korea’s August 2026 issue, appearing across six separate covers in a striking Gucci fashion story.

Photographed inside an antique hotel setting, the editorial presents a version of Jin that feels both polished and unpredictable. The styling moves between quiet elegance and a rougher summer-night energy, allowing him to step beyond familiar images while still carrying the calm confidence that has always defined him.

As a Gucci global brand ambassador, Jin wears pieces from the House’s newest menswear collection throughout the shoot. Yet the focus is not only fashion. The six-cover project is built around transformation—how an artist can remain loyal to his identity while continuing to reveal entirely new sides of himself.

Jin on the ARIRANG World Tour

During the accompanying interview, Jin reflected on BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ and chose the opening concerts in Goyang as one of his strongest memories.

The heavy rain made the experience unforgettable. Rather than treating the weather as a problem, Jin remembered the unusual joy of performing through it—a moment vivid enough to remain like a photograph in his mind.

That answer captures something central to the ARIRANG era.

The tour is not only a return to large stages. It is a collection of moments the members and ARMY may remember for years: rain, stadium lights, surprise songs, laughter and seven members finally sharing the same stage again.

What Music Has Given Jin

ELLE also asked Jin what he has personally received from music after spending thirteen years giving comfort and happiness to other people.

His answer was immediate: music has given him virtually everything he now has, including the life he is living today.

It is a simple answer, but one carrying the weight of his entire journey—from trainee years and BTS’s earliest stages to solo albums, stadium tours and a global career.

Music is not merely part of Jin’s life.

It is the path through which that life became possible.

What It Means to Be “Like Jin”

Jin also spoke about what it means to live in a way that feels true to himself.

For him, being “Jin-like” means trying to live according to what he genuinely wants, while understanding that nobody can do absolutely everything they desire.

That balance—freedom without pretending limits do not exist—fits the mood of the editorial perfectly.

The photographs show someone who is more experimental and daring, but never disconnected from himself. Even while changing, Jin still feels unmistakably like Jin.

Six Covers, One Unpredictable Artist

The August issue includes six individual Jin covers, giving fans multiple interpretations of the same editorial concept.

Across the collection, his expressions shift between intensity, softness, confidence and restraint. The result is less like one magazine cover and more like a visual series documenting different sides of the same artist.

ELLE has also confirmed that further photographs, the complete interview, a fashion film and YouTube content are part of the wider release.

For ARMY, this cover story arrives during an especially active BTS chapter. Jin is moving between the ARIRANG world tour, music, fashion and individual schedules—yet this editorial creates a quieter space to reflect on who he has become after thirteen years.

He is freer.

He is bolder.

He is still impossible to predict.

And somehow, every version is still completely Kim Seokjin.

ARMY Note

Six covers is actually dangerous behaviour 😭

One Jin cover would already have been enough to destroy the timeline, but ELLE really said:

Why choose one version of Jin when we can give ARMY six?
